Member Development

Ryedale District Council recognises that elected Members have a key role in taking forward the Council's aims and objectives and their continuous development is an important activity. The Council is committed to the provision of learning and development opportunities for all elected Members and will work to ensure equality of opportunity across all learning and development activity.

A Member Development Task Group ensures that elected Members are fully engaged in the formulation, monitoring and evaluation of Member development activities.

A training needs form may be submitted to assist with identifying any specific training requirements.
