Information for business

The UK is due to leave the European Union on 31 October 2019. However, there is a lot of uncertainty around what it means and what will happen. To help you and businesses prepare, a range of information has been made available.

Triage tool for businesses

GOV.UK has an online checker tool to help businesses prepare for the UK leaving the EU. Businesses can use the Checker Tool to find out:

  • What their business may need to do to prepare for the UK leaving the EU
  • What’s changing in their sector
  • Information on specific rules and regulations

Businesses will need to answer 7 simple questions to get guidance relevant to their business.

HMRC are running a number of webinars for UK businesses involved in the movement of goods between the EU and the UK.
