Ryedale has a number of friendly Visitor Information Points that provide free town maps, attractions leaflets and free Wi-Fi. These are at:
- Ryedale District Council, Ryedale House, Old Malton Road, Malton YO17 7HH. Open Monday to Friday 09:00 - 16:00
- Helmsley Community Library, Town Hall, Market Place, Helmsley YO62 5BL. Open Tuesday 10:00 - 13.00, Thursday 10:00 - 16:00, Friday 10:00 - 16:00, Saturday 10:00 - 16:00.
- Trailblazer Outdoors, 17 Market Place, Pickering YO18 7AE. Open Monday to Saturday 09:30 - 17:30
