North Yorkshire Police have teamed up with their Safeguarding Partners to send a video message to victims of domestic abuse, to tell them they are not alone and that there are people here waiting to help you. In this video, the police, alongside local authority and charity partners talk through what to expect when you first make a report of domestic abuse and what information, advice and help you can expect from each agency

The North Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner and North Yorkshire Police work closely with many partner organisations, including IDAS who provide independent domestic abuse support to both male and female victims of domestic abuse. IDAS provides support to victims through Independent Domestic Violence Advisers (IDVAs).

North Yorkshire Integrated Domestic Abuse Services
