The parking permit must be displayed in your windscreen. 

To apply for a resident's permit, you can show your vehicle log book, driving licence or council tax bill to prove you live in the Ryedale area. 

Use of permit

Your parking permit should be displayed so it can be seen clearly through the windscreen. It should show your arrival time which can be set by using the time wheel on the disc.

Up to 2 hours.
