Where can I charge my electric vehicle?
You can find charging points here:
- Water Lane car park, Malton
- Wentworth Street car park, Malton
- Eastgate car park, Pickering
- Vivis Lane car park, Pickering
- Town Farm car park, Kirkbymoorside
- St Nicholas Street car park, Norton-on-Derwent.
- Cleveland Way car park, Helmsley
Workplace charging stations are also up-and-running at Ryedale House and Streetscene Depot as part of our move towards a greener fleet.
Our rapid charging points
- You can recharge your car for up to one hour at Water Lane and at St Nicholas Street car parks. These units are rapid charging (43 to 50Kw) and will charge your vehicle to 80% within 30 minutes.
- It’s your responsibility to move your vehicle to a normal parking bay after the one hour parking period. If you stay in a charging bay for longer than one hour, you could be fined.
- We can’t guarantee the availability of the charging points or the power supplied from them.
- The charging points are part of the BP Pulse network and can be accessed by using a RFID card or standard contactless payment.

Our fast charging points
- Fast charging points are available in the following car parks: Wentworth Street, Eastgate, Vivis Lane, Town Farm and Cleveland Way.
- You can recharge your car for up to four hours where usual parking fees apply. These units are fast charging (22kW) and will charge your vehicle to 100% within four hours.
- It’s your responsibility to move your vehicle to a normal parking bay after the four hour parking period, where usual parking fees apply. If you stay in a charging bay for more than four hours, you may be fined.
- We can’t guarantee the availability of the charging points or the power supplied from them.
- The charging points are part of the Connected Kerb network and can be accessed by using the Connected Kerb App or the RFID card.
