If you offer tattooing, semi-permanent skin colouring, cosmetic piercing, acupuncture or electrolysis then you must register with us. If you have a premises, you will need to register it separately. We will then send you a certificate to prove that you are registered.
It is against the law to offer your services to the general public without registration.

Yes. You need to pay a fee for each premises application (if applicable) and a fee for each personal application.
When will I get my Certificate of Registration?
Once we’ve received your form(s), any necessary attachments and your fee, you should get your certificate within 60 days.
If you have not heard from us after 60 days, please contact us.
How does the process work?
Our Environmental Health Officer will arrange a time with you to inspect your business premises. They do this to make sure it meets our safety and hygiene standards.
