Don't be a Waster - Reduce, Reuse, Respect

Details of our fly-tipping campaign will appear here shortly.

We are supporting the Great British Spring Clean 22 March - 23 April 2019 by supplying local community groups with litter picking equipment and taking away the litter that has been ‘picked’ up.

Is your bin always full? Are you looking for ways to cut down on the amount of the waste that goes in your bin?

The Council will kick off the new Don't Be A Waster campaign in October by focusing on responsible dog ownership.

Ryedale District Council is delighted with the success of its first year’s campaign raising awareness and tackling important community issues including litter, fly-tipping, dog fouling and recycling.

Don't Be A WasterOur campaign to tackle issues we know are important to residents will focus on four major themes in 2018/19 – responsible dog ownership, waste & recycling, litter and fly-tipping – as we work with the parish councils, community groups, schools and local businesses to see how we can tackle the issues together and make Ryedale a place to enjoy life.
