It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.

The Council’s Licensing Register, where a record of these applications may be inspected, is kept at Ryedale House, Malton

 

Notice under the Licensing Act 2003

1. James McMillan, 16 Market Street, Malton, YO17 7LY

Notice is given that James McMillan has applied to Ryedale District Council Licensing Authority for a Premises Licence under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003. The Licensable activities are:

  1. The sale of alcohol for consumption on and off the premises

Anyone who wishes to make representations regarding this application must give notice in writing to: Ryedale District Council, Licensing Department, Ryedale House, Old Malton Road, Malton YO17 7ZG by 5 November 2019.

It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is up to level 5 on the standard scale (£5000)
