All Ryedale District Councillors must comply with the Members’ Code of Conduct. The Code sets out the high standards of behaviour and integrity that Elected Members are expected to demonstrate when going about Council business.
The Code of Conduct makes sure that Councillors are open and transparent and declare any personal interests that relate to their work as a Councillor. It also requires Councillors the declaration of gifts and hospitality.
You can read the full Code of Conduct document.
