As a Council, we spend money collected from taxpayers, and make decisions that can significantly affect many people’s lives. For that reason, it is important that we are open about what we do. We publish information about the Council and its activities on this website so the public can hold us accountable, and public debate can be better informed.
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, we are required to publish certain information. Members of the public are also entitled to request information from us.
In this section you can:
- Request information from the Council by sending us a Freedom of Information (FOI) request
- Read our responses to previous FOI requests
