How may severe winter weather affect my waste collection services?
Severe winter weather inevitably impacts on the refuse and recycling collection service.

The primary aim is to ensure the safety of employees and to take no risks with the waste collection vehicles. Our operatives are instructed to take no unecessary risks if they are unsure of the road conditions in some areas.

If waste is not collected, where possible please leave it out for collection and, as soon as vehicles can safely access areas missed, all waste will be collected including extra bags and boxes. We will continue to operate the alternate weekly collection pattern alongside the collection of any missed waste.

Every effort is made to continue to provide normal services wherever possible and practical. Thanks are expressed to all residents for their patience and understanding when collections are disrupted.
