"In the last couple of hours (Sunday morning, 22 February 2010) we have had an amazing snowfall, the largest flakes and the slowest fall I have ever seen. I captured this macro as they landed, look at the brilliant large crystals."

Castle Howard Autumn 2008

Another superb shot from Graham Piercy, this time showing the splendid autumnal colours around Castle Howard on Friday, 7 November 2008.

This night shot was contributed by Mick Phythian, IT Manager at the Council, and shows badgers burglaring a bird table near Cropton. In all there were also a couple of squirrels and six Jays, plus six badgers in total.
