Closed Churchyard Consultation
Ryedale District Council is consulting all
Parish Councils on the options available to parishes and the
Council in relation to the arrangements for the maintenance of
closed churchyards. To find out more please click on the link in
the section to the right.
Community Winter Support Scheme
Streetscene have started to distribute the
equipment and protective clothing to the Parish Councils who are
keen to assist with clearing snow and salting footpaths in their
area.
It is not too late to apply if any Parish is
interested – please note that this is a one-off support scheme.

Digital Switchover Help Scheme
For older and disabled viewers who may find
making the switch difficult, the BBC-run Switchover Help Scheme is
at hand to provide everything you need to switch one TV set to
digital.
