Ryedale District Council

Post incident support

In the provision of a range of social and psychological support services in the aftermath of a major incident affecting residents or visitors, North Yorkshire County Council works closely with voluntary and statutory agencies, to ensure the services they provide are complementary to those already available.

Information and advice is available on our Civil emergencies - flooding page, from North Yorkshire County Council and from the North Yorkshire Local Resilience Forum.

NYCCFor anyone who has been caught up in a major emergency, the future may be different; some people may find they need help facing that future.

The VCS Directory (Voluntary and Community Sector) is a fully searchable online directory of voluntary and community organisations supporting individuals and running activities throughout York and North Yorkshire.
