The Council is responsible for facilitating and enabling the development of sporting opportunities across the Ryedale area working with local sports clubs, leisure facilities and other stakeholders such as North Yorkshire Sport.
The Council works closely with Active Ryedale (the local community sport network) and has developed a website which is aimed at providing information regarding local sports clubs as well as sport development opportunities and initiatives.
