Libraries - special collections

The management of special collections, which may be available on request from library users, but are not generally kept on public display. These special collections comprise material relating to a theme. Each collection has a limited subject scope. This is usually, but not exclusively, of specific interest and importance to the historical study of the area or of notable inhabitants of North Yorkshire.
