Coaching Courses and Schools
Ryedale District Council supports the development of sports
coaching through the (Community Sports Network) Active Ryedale
which has been established to co-ordinate partnership
funding, promote sport and activity and act as a consultant for
national regional policy. For more information about Active

Active Ryedale promotes the Sports Volunteer Support
Scheme. The aim of this scheme is to engage and develop
volunteers, leaders, coaches and officials who are representative
of and active within, the community and can provide coaching
courses free or heavily subsidised. Volunteers for the scheme
are always welcome and an application form is available.
