Sheltered Housing

Ryedale District Council does not have any housing stock.  Sheltered housing in the area is provided by several housing associations.  The largest housing association in the area is Yorkshire Housing.

How to Apply for Sheltered Housing

Home ChoiceTo apply for Sheltered Housing apply online or telephone Yorkshire Housing on 01653 600300 and ask for a paper application form.  The identity of the applicant will need to be verified by supplying documentary evidence of current address, National Insurance number and identity at a Yorkshire Housing office or to a member of the Housing Options Team.

 

 

How to get Housing Advice

Housing Options

Ryedale District Council has a Housing Options Team who provide advice and work to prevent homelessness.  Appointments are normally available at Ryedale House in Malton on weekdays except for Wednesdays by telephoning 01653 600666. Alternatively you can send an email.  Under certain circumstances officers can make arrangements to carry out interviews at another location if required.
