In 1991 the Council transferred its Council House properties to Ryedale Housing Association which manages them independently of the Council. For further information on housing repairs and facilities please contact Ryedale Housing Association on 01653 600300 or visit their website.
The Council is still a statutory housing authority and has a statutory duty to provide housing advice to those who request it on matters such as rents, tenancy conditions, repairs, etc.
