There are no council houses in Ryedale as in 1991 the Council transferred its Council House properties to Ryedale Housing Association, now part of Yorkshire Housing, which manages them independently of the Council.

Ryedale District Council has a Housing Options Team based at Ryedale House in Malton.  They advise people and help to prevent homelessness in the district.  Appointments are normally available every weekday except for Wednesdays by telephoning 01653 600666, alternatively you can email Housing Options.
