Property Alterations by Tenants in Council Housing

In 1991 the Council transferred its Council House properties to Ryedale Housing Association, now part of Yorkshire Housing, which manages them independently of the Council.

Ryedale District Council is still a statutory housing authority and has a statutory duty to provide housing advice to those who request it on matters such as homelessness, rents, tenancy conditions, repairs, etc.
