Ryecare Lifeline Service

What is a lifeline?

Who can benefit from a lifeline?

How much does it cost?

How to contact Ryecare for more information

Ryecare Lifeline Service is for people who want to retain their independence in their own home.

The Service provides users with the reassurance that if they need assistance, at any time of day or night, they can quickly summon the right kind of help.

To summon help a user need only press a red button on an alarm pendant or alarm unit and a call will automatically be made to Ryecare Support Centre which is based in Malton and is open 24 hours a day 365 days of the year.

Local trained operators then:

  • know who the caller is and where they live;
  • are able to determine their problem and summon help;
  • know who the emergency contacts are and keyholders are;
  • have details of the customers GP and any medical problems that they may have.
