Health in Ryedale is one of the Local Strategic Partnership's six priorities.  It is seen, by the community, as not being an issue solely concerned with the treatment of those who are ill but also involving the support of active local communities, the promotion of independent living in a comfortable setting and the presence of a dynamic and diverse local culture.

 

The partnership's emphasis will be on the prevention of illness, rather than simply its treatment, and supporting individuals to make a major contribution towards their own health and well-being.
