Community Transport

North Yorkshire County Council monitor and regulate many of the community transport schemes available in Ryedale. They provide timetables for the frequency and routes these schemes provide.

From 1 April 2008, if you are 60 or over, or eligible disabled and live in England, your bus pass is changing. The new pass will allow you to enjoy free off-peak travel on local buses anywhere in England.

Are you still using the North Yorkshire Bus Pass? From the end of September, 2008 this style of pass will not be valid for free travel on any bus services. Please apply for your new pass if not already received by contacting Ryedale House Cashiers on 01653 600666, ext 226.
