Street Care and Cleaning

Ryedale District Council's StreetScene section is responsible for the street cleaning and litter picking of adopted streets in Ryedale. The maintenance of streets and highways in Ryedale is managed and maintained by North Yorkshire County Council.

Love Where You Live

Communities often take action to carry out litter picking and general tidy up projects in their area and Streetscene will provide support including high-visibility vests, bags, litter pickers and will remove the waste collected.

The Big Tidy Up

Encams, the environmental charity, launched the Big Tidy Up - England's biggest ever clean up campaign in September 2008.
