Regeneration
Regeneration projects and activities at Ryedale
Council are lead by the Forward Planning Unit and the Project
Delivery Team within the Economy and Community Unit.
Officers are working with a range of agencies to bring forward
key regeneration projects that have been identified in Ryedale's
market towns through the recent Renaissance Market Towns and Market
Towns Initiative activities.
The Council is aiming to support projects by including them in
emerging Local Development Framework documents (see the Statutory
Development Plans webpage for further details), and by working with
landowners, Yorkshire Forward and other agencies to bring about
their actual implementation.
