Whether you are having a go at fishing for the first time or
an experienced angler, Ryedale can offer fishing sites to suit all
abilities. River fishing includes the River Derwent, known to be
one of the most pristine river systems in the north, and coarse
fishing is available on many ponds and lakes, all with the backdrop
of Ryedale's superb countryside.
