Emergencies
Since the tragic events of September 11th, public safety
has become a Government priority and they have produced
an information booklet and website called
'Preparing for
Emergencies - What you need to know'. The website and
booklet give advice on what to do in an emergency - for
example, a fire, terrorist attack or natural disaster.
Ryedale District Council also has a responsibility to its
citizens to provide a safe environment for them to live. The
Community Safety partnership was formed to draw agencies
together in Ryedale to address crime and anti social
activity. For further information please visit the
Community Safety Partnership website -
Safer Ryedale.
