Ryedale District Council is committed to involving residents in the development of the services that affect you and your community. 

 

In July 2010 Ryedale District Council recruited a Citizens' Panel made up of 1100 local residents from all ages and backgrounds to be representative of Ryedale's population.

 

In July 2012 we began refreshing our Citizens' Panel to make sure the details we have for people are still correct and that members still wish to continue being on our panel. 

 

If you would like to be a member of our Citizens' Panel and add your views on the services provided by us, please tell us your contact details. You can email your details to transformation@ryedale.gov.uk or telephone us on 01653 600666, extension 228.

 

As a panel member, we will invite you to complete, no more than, four surveys a year by post or on-line. Occasionally, we may also invite you to attend a focus group on specific topics. A focus group is a form of research in which a group of people are asked about their perceptions, opinions, beliefs and attitudes towards a service, concept or idea. Questions are asked in an interactive group setting where participants are free to talk with other group members.
