In 1991, the Council transferred its Council house stock to Ryedale Housing Association, which now manages all these properties independently of the Council. However, subject to a number of conditions, grants may be available from Ryedale District Council to provide facilities for disabled people, for minor repairs for older people's homes, or to improve energy efficiency in homes.
