Ryedale has three Tourist Information Centres (TICs) in
Helmsley, Malton and
Pickering.

Facilities for the disabled
Helmsley Information Centre has
wheelchair access and a disabled toilet, also loop system for the
hard of hearing. There is a wheelchair available for loan to our
visitors who require one for use off site if needed. The castle has
approx 70% wheelchair access and a screen to do a virtual tour of
the castle situated in the West Range. A wheelchair is
available on site.

Malton TIC has wheelchair access available through side entrance.
Staff on hand to open door and assist when summoned by bell alert.
Time-limited car parking available around the museum (subject to
availability). TIC is equipped with a portable induction
loop.

- 16.00 - in the new library location
Christmas Period: TIC closes 14.00 on 24 Dec

Facilities for the disabled
Pickering TIC is suitable for wheelchair access, with staff on hand
to assist with opening entrance door. Disabled parking bays
available in short-stay 'Pay & Display' car park on opposite
side of road. Car-park also offers a disabled WC with Radar Key
access. TIC is equipped with a portable induction loop.
