Nursing Agency Licence

Ryedale District Council does not issue licences for nursing agencies.

Any agency which supplies nurses to hospitals, senior citizens homes or other outlets can only do so if they are licensed. This applies to employment agencies or any organisation or individual operating in this area of work. The Care Quality Commission is the new health and social care regulator for England.

New providers of these services will be required to register with the Care Quality Commission before they can commence their operations.
