Business Rates: account enquiries 

 
Local businesses can apply to the council for information about their own business rates such as a statement of their account, details of their property valuation etc. 
 
New businesses must apply to the council for a valuation of their property and to set up a new business rate account.
 
If you wish to make enquires about your Business Rates account you can either visit your nearest Ryedale District Council Office and ask for the Revenues Services, telephone us, or contact us by e-mail on brates@ryedale.gov.uk.
 
The Revenues Services will be closed every Tuesday morning until 10.30am for staff training. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you.
