Emergencies

Since the tragic events of 11 September, public safety has become a Government priority. Information is available via the Directgov website. You will find advice on what to do in an emergency - for example, a fire, terrorist attack or natural disaster.

Ryedale District Council also has a responsibility to its citizens to provide a safe environment for them to live.  The Community Safety partnership was formed to draw agencies together in Ryedale to address crime and anti social activity.  For further information please visit the Community Safety Partnership website - Safer Ryedale.
